This is the fourth part of the 'Experiments in Generative Music' series of albums. It is based on a style developed by Brian Eno in the early 1970's in which non-repetitive music is produced that helps to create a calming effect in the listener.
Each album contains just under one hour of music and as the music does not repeat during this time, there are no apparent themes for the listener to get 'hooked' into. This leaves the listener free to effortlessly experience the music and simultaneously relax and begin to let go of the mind and body.
The music also uses a lower frequency rate (432Hz) than the more traditional, western tuning of 440Hz (used in the majority of classical and popular music today) that is widely reported to have a much more calming effect on the human body.
• Health practitioners currently use this music to assist with the relaxation of their clients.
• Women during childbirth have played the music to help ease labour pains.
• Meditators have found the music to have an extremely calming effect during meditation.
• Artists have remarked that the music has helped them greatly in their creations.
Please contact me if you would rather have the CD version - The music on the CDs is slightly longer (1 hour) as Bandcamp has file size restrictions.
